I am incurably addicted to the written word. I've been penning stories since the age of four: I don't know how not to do it. I'm also one of those people who was writing fanfiction before I knew there was a name for it. First for The Odyssey (I wrote a sequel when I was eight, stealing bits from Marion Zimmer Bradley's The Firebrand along the way); then the three or four epic Redwall spinoffs; then The Lion King (including a crossover with Jurassic Park -- no, I am not kidding); then the legion of stories about the Beatles; and then I discovered the wonderful world of Harry Potter. I had a word processor and an internet connection, and it was all downhill from there.

X-Men: Wax Wings - AU - In which a mysterious young duke invites Oscar Wilde to his manor to help him with a weight on his young shoulders. [PG]
